Seems to me that lack of organization is the real problem I have if it looks like I have too many things to do and not enough time to do them all.

Seldom do we have to do everything – completely – all at once, in one day. We just think we do and sometimes just like most everyone, I think I have so much to do that I can’t possibly get it all done.

Well, I probably can’t get it all done – in one day, that is. But that doesn’t mean I should just say “Phooey” and leave it for another day. That just starts the whole procrastination thing all over again, right!?

To avoid complaining about Information Overload as our problem in getting everything done, I try to do this . . .

Divide things up. For a half- hour or an hour time frame, schedule one task for each time slot. Do that for each of the several things to do in a day.

Devote the time for the task to work and no distractions!

Take a break of 15 minutes or your regular lunch schedule to give your brain a break as well as your own physical body!

Schedule your tasks to fit an adjusted time frame for the next day. Some tasks will need longer time frames and some may be able to skip a day.

Always stick to your schedule. Continuing what was not totally completed in one day to the next day’s schedule will result in its eventual completion. Adjusting my schedule to fit changes and time frames for tasks for the next day is necessary and realistic.

I think being organized, which is a good way to “chunk” things up in easy to handle pieces, is what it takes to get things done. Working at a job or task in sections, or “chunks” (so to speak) will result in getting it done.

And it will result in getting things done sooner than I thought in the first place! How about you?

Thanks for listening!

Just do some research into what are the hot topics in internet marketing and what are the hot products and you will be led into level after level of material to research. This is good, though. All that research will get your mind in the frame of focus you need to concentrate on a specific niche – the category, the product, the foundation surrounding the process of building and then marketing your chosen product. Peeling away layer after layer of possible choices to market is like a discovery mission. The results along the way can be surprising as you finally end up with a niche that fits your interest enough to compel your commitment and dedication. Then it’s time to really jump in and put everything into your product’s success.

Till next time,

I’ve been working on ideas to focus on concerning an information product that I’ll start putting together very soon. The various ways to use eBay, affiliate programs, and joint ventures, are all ways I have just touched on so far. Writing an ebook, or working out a joint venture on an ebook or other information product is what I am zeroing in on right now. And of course that would involve choosing a topic or subject. I’ll be giving this a lot of time over the next couple of days and plan to launch into it from that point.

Had to take a few hours out yesterday afternoon for my husband, daughter, and I to go see Dark Knight. It’s a great movie, with lots of action scenes involving large scale destruction and violence, but there’s a message to the movie for us all to figure out and think about at the end.

Just heard about the 5.8 earthquake that occurred in Southern California about 1-1/2 hours ago. Not much information out on it yet but there will be by the time the evening news comes on. We lived in Southern California, Orange County to be exact, for about 17 years up to 1994, so it still is of interest to us as we left some friends there when we moved.

Thanks for visiting,

105 degrees is what we are going up to today here in Fort Worth. Might as well continue staying inside and digging further into the workings of internet marketing. Specifically, how to do all the settings and adjustments needed to make all things work together smoothly. That can be quite a challenge but success and progress do eventually come along step by step. It’s all worth it since having a fully functioning online, home-based business is what this is all about. That’s the big prize at the end that I’m very much looking forward to!

Until next time,

Having an online business is what I have been working towards for about eight years or so. A big part of the learning process in starting up an online business is who to follow, who to trust, and how to start things up the right way. There are many people selling how-to programs, so who do you go with? We all will buy into weak programs or outright scams until we find someone’s teachings that finally look to be a good choice. That choice in itself requires a lot of research so that you can get to know a marketer as best you can. Through time and a lot of cross-researching, you can get to the point where someone eventually appears to be honest and someone you feel you can trust. This is the point where I moved to “working” with John Thornhill through his coaching program. Almost finishing up with the 2nd week of the 16-week program has gotten me organized enough to keep motivated through overwhelming (almost!) information overload. Tomorrow will be better with what I learn today!

This is my second post to my Blog and so I want to see it go as well as yesterday’s first post. Today was interesting because it started with a meeting of all the homeowners in my neighborhood over the proposed gas-leasing offer being made by a local Texas natural gas driller. Everywhere out here most everyone is affected by the Barnett Shale natural gas drilling operations. Fort Worth, my city, is very much tied into Barnett Shale operations. Even the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport has rigs in operation. The area is just brewing with the activities involved with the Barnett Shale. Workers are needed in many categories. I guess that all helps to explain why the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area has had the biggest population growth over all other metro areas in recent past years.

I’ll be back tomorrow to tell you something about me!
