Self-Promoting and Starting Out

Starting out in internet marketing, we hear all the things you can or should  do:

  •  Get a website or go without a website is ok too.
  •  Use eBay to start your affiliate marketing.
  •  Using Master Resell Rights if you can’t write.
  •  Create and sell your own ebook if you can write.
  •  Join forums and networks, subscribe to newsletters, and subscribe to blogs to visit and leave a comment or two with your name and email address with maybe a link to your website – if you have one.

You have no website, no product, and do not want to write.  So what do you do?

Look into buying Master Resell Rights in subject areas you are very familiar with and have some enthusiastic interest in.

Buying a product with Master Resell Rights allows you to sell someone else’s product that they created – usually an information product such as an ebook.  You didn’t write it, but you purchased the right to sell it!

Website? – your don’t need a website with eBay, for example.  Selling on eBay is quickly learned, requiring little time and little money.  Check eBay’s website and all the tools they provide on how to get your product listed and online.  Find out how sellers list their product, the price ranges, and how your product category stands out in popularity.

Then go back and dig more into eBay.  Put some time into learning how buying and selling on eBay works so that you know your way around.

Keep the learning process going, though.  So much can be picked up by joining forums and subscribing to newsletters and blogs.

If you want ideas and tips, (and we all do!), you’ll find them all around you, if you keep thinking and keep working at your new business step by step.

Till next time,

Jackie
